#1. Stop! Stop the comparison

Stop the comparison of your life with others. We all have different paths and life journeys. As a human, we have a competitive nature but it can be dangerous for our well-being. 

The only person you should compete with is You. Focus on how you can make your life better. 

#2.  Start being positive daily.

Our thoughts matter about how we think of ourselves. Start every single day by saying something positive about yourself. Talk positively about how you look, and how you speak. Don’t say mean things about yourself. If you don’t love or respect yourself then how will you expect from others?

#3. Stop worrying about people’s opinions

The simple fact is you cannot make everyone happy so stop being a people pleaser. Every person who meets you will create a different version of you in their heads. You should not bother to worry about what they think or expect from you. Instead, Shift your energy to become the person you want.  

#4. Let go of toxic people

Get this, whoever in your life doesn’t make you feel good, or confident and who spreads toxicity in your life don’t be afraid to remove them from your life. Your mental health is important. You deserve to be surrounded by people who make you feel valued which is the next point.

#5. Surround yourself with people who uplift you.

Spend more time with people who encourage you and help you to build confidence in yourself. The ones who remind you that you are amazing. On social media also follow people who are positive & motivating. Don’t let social media toxicity affect you.

Come out of your comfort zone and do the things you want to do but are afraid to do. There is no perfect way or timing to do something. Take action, grab that opportunity, and even if you fail or make a mistake let it be.

#7. Celebrate your wins

It doesn’t matter if your wins are smaller or bigger. Celebrate them. Reward yourself for achieving your goals and values. Be proud of what you are doing and your achievements. So give yourself a treat today if you have accomplished something!

#8. Spend time with yourself

Today, the problem with us that we don’t spend time for ourselves. Do some self-care. Spend some alone time to think and understand your thoughts. Get in touch with your mind and soul. Find a place where you feel happier, calm, and comfortable.

#9. Let go of the Past

If you have still not forgiven yourself for your past mistakes and decisions you are living in burden. Let that go. You cannot change the past so why waste your energy on that. Make room for healthy habits in your daily routine.

How you start your day, what you eat, where you spend the time the most, on what you spend your time the most really matters. Monitor your habits and bring changes if necessary. 

Want a healthy body- Hit the gym or do yoga.

Want a healthy mind- read books and listen to inspirational podcasts.

#13. Take steps for the life you want.

You have got some dreams and desires for your life, right? Take steps to achieve it. Prove it to yourself that you care about yourself and your desires. Respect your desires and your decisions. Take small steps daily to create the life you want,The joy you want. Consistency matters the most.

#14.  Write a letter to yourself

Write a letter to yourself with the same warmth and love as you would write to someone else you love. Write down about people who make you happy and things which bring you joy. What’s going on in your life currently. Write down your struggles and the advice you want to give yourself. Put that letter in a safe place and read it after months and see how far you have made in your life.

That was the list from my side. I know that some of the mentioned ways can be common and heard many times yet we don’t understand them. That’s why I wanted to remind you again that these small steps will help us to be the person we want to be. To get to the stage to accept and love ourselves as we are.
