I wanted to create this 7 day self care challenge for a very long time after I wrote a post for 30 day self care challenge for the people who find it difficult to do a 30 day challenge at first.

I created this challenge and a workbook for anyone who, like me, struggles to fit effective self care into their day-to-day lives. And I think that a 7 day self care challenge is a good start for creating time for yourself.
This challenge is proof that you don’t have to spend money or a lot of time each day taking care of yourself. Simply offer yourself a little bit of kindness and forgiveness every single day for a week

Let’s get into this post of 7 days of self care for your body and soul.

1// ENERGISE
Spend 15 minutes today doing a form of exercise you enjoy. That could include yoga, walking, try a new workout class. Get outside, and breathe fresh air.
However, not everyone is able to leave their homes for a variety of different reasons, so you could get some fresh air by standing at an open door for a few minutes if the weather is nice enough. Even just opening a window in your room to let the breeze in can be really beneficial.
2// TECH DETOX
Put down your phone and turn off the TV. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve sat on my phone endlessly scrolling Instagram. It’s amazing how many other things you could be out in the world doing
Today I encourage you to switch off from the world around you as much as possible and lose yourself in some creative activities that make you feel relaxed. shut off the TV and connect with your creativity. Color for an hour, listen to music, read a book that’s been sitting on your shelf for too long, knit, — do anything that feels creative and interesting for you.
However long you decide to do it, turning on do not disturb mode can be a great way to take a break from constant notifications, and the stress and expectations that can come with them.
3// CLEAR-OUT
Today is all about decluttering, your home, your surroundings, and your mind. Releasing what is not serving you.
Clear out your home, the area where you work the most. Clean and sorted areas bring peace to your mind too, that’s why you want to do the decluttering.
As for the mind and soul, Let go of emotions of guilt, jealousy, and comparison What’s not serving you? Find something you need help with, and ask your support system for help.

4// PAMPER DAY
Nourish your body with food also Developing a simple nighttime routine for yourself is such a wonderful way to wind down for the evening. Today encourage yourself to set a little time aside to do a nice skincare routine, drink a cup of tea, and lemon water, diffuse some essential oils into a diffuser next to your bed, and catch up on your sleep.
Or maybe watch a film, light candles, apply hair masks and facemasks, whatever you want to, just do it for yourself.

5//GET SOCIAL
Invite your friends over for a game night. Hang with your family. Play fun games. Go bowling, go to a new restaurant.
Catch up with a friend on a phone call. Be with the people that make you happy
6// SPIRITUAL WELLNESS
Find 10 minutes of quiet time to pray or meditate.
Find positive affirmations to replace judgment. Practice loving-kindness. Appreciate what’s around you.
Meditation is a superpower. It increases self-awareness, energy, positivity, and mental focus, while decreasing stress, depression, and inflammation in the body. So try giving yourself 5-10 minutes in a day to meditate for your better mental health.

7//TREAT YOURSELF AND RECHARGE
Treat yourself to something good today. Is it an ice cream cone? A pedicure? A haircut? Shaving your legs? Maybe get that soft robe you’ve been wanting? Ordering a fancy coffee?
Take yourself out on a date, Do something fun or Sleep in without feeling guilty, and recharge yourself for smashing next week’s goals. You have got this!
Whatever feels good to you, do it. Treating ourselves is something we should do and not feel guilty about it.

7 DAY SELF CARE CHALLENGE
